Hello all!

Friday:

Went out with Nurul Ameerah Bte Mohd Suhaimi. I'm not exactly sure why, but I usually feel damnit contented when I type out her name. I suspect that it's because it gives me a sense of accomplishment to know that I can still spell.

Watched ‘Freedom Writers’ starring Hilary Swank.

That movie is just so damn nice. I wish I knew another word to ‘damn nice’ but you know, I can’t think right now. It basically talks about how Miss Erin Gruwell manages to unite her class and let them overcome their racial judgments in one another. And at that time in America, racial riots often broke out and racial tensions were very high.

Her dedication to allow her kids to work together as a class and have trust in one another should be applauded. How many teachers in Singapore would actually take on 2 MORE jobs to 'support' her current job?

Not many, I dare say.

Here's the picture of the Freedom Writers book:

I feel like buying it already.

She made the class do activities, allowing them to know each other better. Somehow, while watching the movie, I suddenly had Adam Khoo’s camp in my head. I could somewhat picture Uncle Khoo doing that kind of activities in his camp.

Oh well, it’s kinda a suck fest that his camps are so expensive. I hate it that its so expensive and that IAG (I Am Gifted) graduates have to subsequently pay to come back for a reunion.

Know what? Thank you very much, Mr. Khoo, but I’d rather hold a reunion by just dialing the numbers I have in my handphone and start off by just saying, ‘Eh! Wanna meet up?’ And we’ll prolly hang out in a cafĂ© with FOOD and aircon as well, and PAY LESSER, yet achieving what a reunion is for, getting us what we want instead of paying a sum of money.

Saturday:

Met up with Nat the CAT and went over to Esplanade. The weather’s super hot la. I know its already a Sunday but I can vividly remember how bloody hot the fucking weather was.

Phantom of the Opera was a sensational.

The lady who played Christine Daae had voice that would make Hady Mirza & Taufik look like crows cawing. Her voice is so silky and smooth, gave me the shivers and goose bumps would pop out to say hi to Christine.

Carlotta’s, Raoul’s and Mr. Opera Ghost’s voice are GUDT (Good in German) too. Did I mention that the chandelier is so pretty? Its bloody huge. For $47, I sure am pleased that I made use of my money. Grease! was just so so for me. But POTO is the best. I wouldn’t mind catching it again!

The hall stage is so pretty too. The effects and the stage is so elaborate.

And there’s the part where there’s all these white smoke to represent the water and shit stuff, started to flow down into the area meant for the band. And I was wondering how the conductor was still able to swish her baton and lead her band. Its almost mind blowing to know that these musicians can still see their scores in the fog.

Turned out that me and Nat had the same thoughts too.

This foxy mama caught Nurul and my eyes while walking down Orchard.

Whoever thought that wearing these kind of hair ought to be put out of their misery and just slaughter themselves. The last time I wore that kind of hair was when I was about 10 or something.

She's a full-grown adult. JINKIES. :S
